Hermes Canvas Dye Transfer Removal
Our customer’s canvas Hermès Herbag, had dark dye transfer spoiling its exterior. We recommended a Full Clean & Stain Removal treatment to freshen up the bag. Using our specialist cleaning techniques, the technicians were able to reduce the dye transfer considerably and get bag looking new season ready. The customer was so happy she wrote on Google: “Very professional and friendly service! Perfect handbag cleaning service”.
Chanel Classic Flap Colour Change
Lighter coloured bags, such as this camel Chanel flap, are notorious for picking up stains and showing dirt, so a Colour Change to a darker shade is a great way to make your bag more wearable. This customer opted for black, which ensured even coverage of the original colour and also was in keeping with Chanel’s handbag range. The technicians undertook a Full Clean, which is necessary before proceeding with a Colour Change, in order to remove any surface dirt and prep the bag. Afterwards black dye was applied to the exterior of the handbag and it’s chain strap, to give it the desired makeover.
Prada Stain Removal And Colour Restoration
This Prada handbag came in to the spa, looking dull and a little distressed with years of use – it was definitely in desperate need of some expert attention! Firstly our technicians gave the bag a Full Clean, followed by a Stain Removal process for the marks and finished with Full Colour Restoration. Now the handbag is back to looking its best and ready for many more years of use.

Chanel Milan Treatment
This Chanel came in with severe dye transfer and overall colour wear. This fell into our Milan Package so we carried out a deep Interior and Exterior Clean, Dye Transfer Removal and Colour Restore to restore the leather. With light coloured bags we do recommend adding on Stain Protection to your package for an extra £20.00.

Your bag is fully insured during its treatment at The Handbag Spa against loss or damage. Our couriers are all fully insured and our Agents and Drop Off Points have insurance whilst your handbag is with them. Please see our for further information.
The processes on your handbag are all carried out to the highest level, using the appropriate professional products. After your bag has been returned to you we will recommend the correct ongoing care products. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your bag after treatment we will happily take the bag back in for assessment within the first 6 months. If at any time The Handbag Spa feel that the incorrect care of the bag has led to any subsequent problems we reserve the right to charge for extra work involved.
Yup! We clean and repair all manner of leather and fabric items, including: purses, wallets, pochettes, cosmetic bags, shoes, leather jackets, leather trousers and leather skirts to name a few. Contact the team for more information.
The turnaround time varies depending on the chosen treatments. We’re currently working on an estimated 10 working days basis.
You will be kept informed via automated emails, as your item works its way through each stage. You can call the office at any point for an update quoting your item number.
All items sent into The Handbag Spa are reviewed by one of our trained technicians upon arrival. A member of the team will then call you to discuss their recommendations and confirm the work with yourself. If the chosen treatments at this point involve a difference in the price, this will be adjusted.
Although our HQ is based in the UK, we do clean and restore handbags for EU and international customers too.
If you would like to ship an item into The Handbag Spa, we ask that you make clear on any customs applicable paperwork that the item is coming into the UK for repair & restoration work only and that it will be shipped back to yourself when complete.

Unfortunately, The Handbag Spa cannot be held responsible for any customs paperwork which has been filled out incorrectly and items which are therefore held up in customs. Feel free to contact the team for further advice.

Although our HQ is based in the UK, we do clean and restore handbags for EU and international customers too.
At this time, we don’t offer a courier collection service outside of mainland UK, so we recommend sending in items yourself via a courier of your choosing.
We recommend that you package your item up securely in a box, which fits your item comfortably.
Use bubble wrap or tissue paper to cover your item and help to ensure minimum movement during transportation.
It is not necessary to include dust covers.

Yup, we do sell and ship products internationally and do so on a daily basis!
You can pay for The Handbag Spa services and products online using our checkout service or over the phone. We can also send secure Paylinks via WorldPay for online payments.
No payment is due to our agents when dropping your item into one of our official drop off points. All payments for our spa services are paid directly to The Handbag Spa.
Please note, no payment is due to directly to the DPD courier who collects or delivers your item as booked through The Handbag Spa.
